This is something I have done twice. I went in 2011 & 2012. 

Obviously if I went back, it was completely worth it. 

Nothing is better then working your butt off all semester long...and knowing Spring Break is right around the corner. 

My friends and I went to Panama "spur of the moment" in 2011. We had NO idea what we were getting into. We booked a hotel that was exactly 11 miles away from where everything was happening.
(Don't worry, I somehow managed to make it to the party spot EVERY day...and I still had a blast!)

SO FAR!

Year One in Panama was A BLAST- But it was definitely a test run. 

Here are a couple things I did learn that prepared me for year two!

-Bring a flag**

It helps you find the people that go to your school and you get to meet new friends from the other schools! 

-Natty Light is cheap & it will become your best friend**

-Don't fall asleep on the beach, people bury you alive.**

-Somehow manage to fit a shovel in your trunk, you'll need it to dig a pong table.**

-Buy the Panaramic Card. Cover is expensive & spending $40 on the card allows you to get in bars for free & you get to take advantage of drink specials like FREE BEER or $1 MIXED DRINKS!**

-Staying in one night is like missing out on a week.**

-Play games!**

-Be open to meeting as many people as possible. You could meet lifelong friends here from other schools. Or in my case...I met my boyfriend here!**

-Subway, McDonalds, & Hungry Howies Pizza are your best friends.**

-WEAR SUNSCREEN.** 

-Have money for cabs....it's usually $5 each way.**

-Don't be a sloppy mess, especially around people from your school...they will remember.**

-Dizzy Bats are a bad idea.**

There is probably so much more.

Year one was a blast...but year two was even better.
